claire my flair is a Zurich-based singer-songwriter with Swiss-Italian roots who creates a sticky, balmy, cozy, cocoony type of Indie Folk padded with sweet melancholy — a gentle space where all shades of our fraught human experience can find shelter. It's a space you want to crawl into to make sense of life's messy, to feel safe, to take a break, to feel yourself — to be reminded that it's okay to be exactly as you are.

She says she didn’t set out to make “Newborn Baby,” her debut EP—that she was just “living my life and writing songs.” And like all things in life, it sort of just happened. The same way humans occasionally fall into each other, spin time into something beautiful, and then break eventually, unexpectedly. These four songs were written in the aftermath, while picking up the pieces. Once she realized she had something, Claire called on a bunch of gorgeous friends, and they recorded the whole damn thing live, usually in 3-4 takes. They kept the versions that felt good and then added some minor overdubs. Raw and vulnerable, like a sunburn. Soothing, like aloe vera squeezed straight from a fleshy leaf, applied by gentle hands. That’s what this music feels like.
The first single of her upcoming EP Newborn Baby will be released end of November 2024.
